LifePosts is designed to help funeral homes serve families better. Even if a funeral home already has memorial tools, it can use LifePosts in a variety of ways.
All memorial LifePosts have an area listing funeral service information, and can link back to the funeral home.
In addition, LifePosts has a “tribute wall” tool that enables tributes to be embedded right on the funeral home website. Here’s an example of a Tribute Wall that appeared on The Huffington Post on Fathers Day.
If a funeral home already has its own online memorial tool, most often used in the immediate aftermath of the death, the funeral service could encourage the family to create a LifePost to more deeply convey the loved one’s story over the course of the next year. The new LifePost can be set up to include links back to the funeral home, and LifePosts is now set up to have some of LifePosts’ tools live on the funeral home website.
